As the DDB Chicago teamed briefed us on “Release Your Renegade,” we knew instantly this campaign wouldn’t be your traditional car commercials. They were looking for us to create a piece that highlighted these bad-ass, up-and-coming performers who embodied the Jeep Renegade brand, rather than the car itself.

Using a double exposure treatment, we were focused on how to enhance the technique to produce work that stands on its own. To start, we loved the idea of not only nestling footage into silhouettes, but also collaging imagery to create, and in some cases, change the silhouettes.
