This year, Sarofsky worked on the documentary film Abacus: Small Enough to Jail, created by Chicago production company Kartemquin Films. We did the main title and graphics within the film and the movie poster was designed by our very own Duarte Elvas.

Abacus tells the story of the Sung family, owners of Abacus Federal Savings of Chinatown, New York… Also known as the only U.S. bank to face criminal charges stemming from the 2008 financial crisis.

If you’re interested in the film (and seeing our work, of course!), head over to the Chicago International Film Festival on October 18th for the Chicago premiere of this incredible documentary. Both the director (Steve James) and the Sung family will be there. Click here for tickets!
